Ian Swainston is President, Manager of Fidelity National Title Agency of Nevada. Prior to his current position, he served as Vice President, Sales Manager, Assistant Vice President, Commercial Business Development, serving for a total of 15 years with Fidelity National Title. He has also worked in other private and public sector positions, including 3 years as Budget Analyst for the Los Angeles County Superior Court system.

Ian is a proud native son of Southern Nevada. Born and raised in North Las Vegas, Nevada, he now lives with his wife and two youngest sons in Summerlin. Ian earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas in 1989, and received his Master of Public Administration degree at California State University, Long Beach in 1994. Ian is also a graduate of the Commercial Real Estate Certificate program at the Lied Institute for Real Estate Studies at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Prior to finishing college, he also proudly served a 2 year LDS mission in the Dakotas and Wyoming.

Ian is an avid outdoorsman, pilot, and a 2 time recipient of the National Award of Merit from the Boy Scouts of America, and currently actively serves as Scout Master in Summerlin Troop 469. As an NRA certified Firearms Instructor, and nationally certified Chief Range Safety Officer, he nurtures a keen interest in firearms collecting and amateur gun-smithing. In his spare time Ian also enjoys flying his twin engine airplane, skiing, off road motorcycling, hiking, camping, scuba diving, shooting sports, and just about any other activity he can share an interest in with his 4 sons. Ian’s favorite title, and job he finds the greatest satisfaction in, is that of being a Dad to his 4 boys.
